We got Sheba in 1997 from the RSPCA Animal Rescue at 2 years old, a loyal dog that never strayed too far from us, then if my memory is correct we decided on a friend for Sheba a year later. Oscar, supposedly 3 years old took our eye at another Animal Rescue Centre so we went for a walk with him and Sheba just to see how they got on and decided there and then to have him.
From then on they were inseparable, played together, holidayed together and walked together........sometimes. Oscar was a Lab crossed with a Beagle and would attempt to follow a scent for miles if we let him, in fact he has let his nose get the better of him only to look up later to find he has lost us.
Cassie has got a lot to live up to.
